Theodosius I, the Great Emperor of Nicaea
Theodosius I thought he was on his deathbed in the late 370s, and had himself baptized. He sought out the bishop who baptized him to learn Christianity from him. After being baptized by a pro Nicene, Theodosius became a Nicene defender. 11 years after that has declared Nicene Christianity the official religion of the empire.
