The Importance of Intensity

How hot we get and how well we dissipate heat or remove heat is a factor. A lot of it is to do with pacing and how hard you're going. The people who are going harder are often who can go faster like these guys. These elite guys are often at greater risk than your average Joe or your age group. It's intensity, not duration, which is why the first thing that happens when we're getting too hot is we slow down.
