In machine learning, we name it feature engineering because different than features in software. These features are modeling the world that we want to automate or the problem space. And they give us better information than just what we just got from raw data. But there's also a scaling issue in that, right? So you say more features equals better model. Oh, 100%. There's a trade-off. We need to worry about.
