The Role of Authority in Marriage
First Corinthians seven is the only place in scripture where Paul explicitly talks about authority and marriage. The verse itself is very egalitarian, but it's totally been used to tell women that you can't say no. If a woman isn't orgasming or doesn't feel emotionally close during sex, she would have been better off not having sex. 18% of women in our survey say that their primary emotion after sex is feeling used.
