The Theory of the Strong Nuclear Force

In the 1960s, Marie Gellmann and others worked out that there were a bunch of different kinds of particles we had discovered in nature. They were made up of smaller particles, things we call quarks and gluons. If these particles didn't exist, those forces wouldn't exist. The reason why charged particles interact with each other's because photons are being passed back and forth through space communicating the electromagnetic force. And the strong force between quarks is because gluons are traveling back and forththrough space communicating the strong nuclear force.
