How to Manage a Remote Work Environment
I think once you've made a fully remote commitment, it's really hard to put that back in the bottle. Things like raises promotions, working on that really cool new project, things like that that you could do. But it's going to take months or years to really pay that consequence out to the employee. So I would just collect information because it could be that you don't have a case to make at all. It could very well be that the best thing for the company and for this person is for them to stay remote.
