The Problem With Housing Prices in the UK
Politically this is a really interesting conundrum because there is so much pressure on the government right now to build more housing. We know that the reason people cannot afford housing in this country is simply there isn't enough. So on the one hand nobody wants to hear about a housing crash right? Nobody wants to feel if they're in charge, I'm talking about the Prime Minister that the economy is going backwards. On the other hand, he might then feel it takes some of the pressure off this push towards relaxing planning applications. If housing prices are going down then presumably there is the perception of more stock for people to buy. Except the problem is of course and there will be people listening to
