Niobhe: I've been listening to boys and young men since 1987, a long time. They tell something very different in terms of their socialization when they're younger," Niobhe says. "They start to sort of everything that becomes a joke, even though basically that they don't see it as a joke" The suicide rate goes up at the point where boys disconnect from their own desires for closeness, especially with other young men, he adds.
