The Principles of the Writing Revolution

New research shows that teaching grammar without linking it to students writing doesn't really work. The two most important phase of writing are actually the planning and revising stage. So you never learn something without putting it into your writing straight away. And so the way that the writing revolution does it is that it makes it really functional. It gives students more of a tool set.
