CHAPTER

The Slavery Campaign in England

I love the story and I love that it sets up in the intro of your book. Just an absolutely extraordinary sentence which I have thought about many times since I read it. You said the campaign in England was something never seen before. It was the first time a large number of people became outraged and stayed outraged for many years over someone else's rights. There had been nothing like this. Yet I think if we don't have the ability to do that, there is no hope for us on this planet because we can't just be agitating for our own self-interest.
