Are There Certain Kinds of Actions That You Shouldn't Do?

The idea that there are certain kinds of actions that you simply shouldn't perform is not alien to the Christian tradition. St. Augustine famously, for example, says that lying is an unacceptable action. So I think I actually think that everyone agrees that there are intrinsically evil actions, but the debate is actually about what they are and what lists should contain them.
