Users don't come first, but the product has to be really top-notch. A good product is a prerequisite for at least getting users to stay more than the first three minutes. And then if you are all out set on being bought up for whatever reason, then you've got to be a bit evil. That is the scariest stuff in this. You can't fight just for the good side.
