Historians Fiona Snailam and Anna Maria Barry wrote about this story for BBC History Magazine earlier this year. We're going to be discussing how the Sherlock Holmes creator Arthur Conan Doyle became drawn into the world of spiritualism. He left his Christian faith behind because he didn't feel that it presented tangible evidence in any way, shape or form. So to him, there is evidence here just as our homes might look for evidence.
