I've Met Many of Those People Coding in Antiquated Old Languages That Make Bow Loads of Money

Under so many core pieces of infrastructure are these aging systems. I think the easiest way to make good money as a contract programmer is to go learn a language that everybody else has forgotten and doesn't know exists. It raises very interesting questions about like at what point do we end up with a language that no one speaks that some infrastructure is still based on?
