There used to be this time before the internet where you'd be like, huh, I have nothing to do right now. Now we're in this flipping point where nobody gets bored anymore. There's a vacuum that gets created for things that are higher quality and that are focused more on sort of like signal to noise. If one half of it is appealing to your lizard brain, right, TikTok's trying to make like the perfect version of what's cheaply compelling.
