The Ben-Sira Principle Distinguishable From No Hesitancy
In the absence of God, publicly and observably taking credit for each instance of mercy and justice, how is the Ben-Sira principle distinguishable in practice from no bother? That's exactly what the quote unquote evil doers in the poem say. They say, look, we do evil if nothing happens, right? Psalm 9 is a locus classicist for this. But satisfaction is the individual who's own will to accept the punishments as the fit, you know, consequence for what you did wrong. I'm sure that's in the fathers, but I have not won them.
