The rhetoric of empire is always white men saving brown or brown women from brown men. That's always the rhetoric. And but it didn't, it didn't start that way. The thing it was protecting, you know, itwa is national security issue, i guess, that's how a lot of things are framed. Well, someone needed to pay,you know, hes blodan. That isn't, the american public would not have tolerated not going to war after nine 11 an. Isn't the way that this kind of ends up working itself out?
