Is There a Problem With Written Comments

I think we can view feedback almost on a spectrum is that you have these in the moment verbal bits of feedback which are incredibly powerful and valuable. And then there's probably some things which are maybe still can have a bit of best of both roles and they're still able to be recorded and captured but they still have high value. I've seen so many schools now experiment with whole class feedback instead of putting a written comment at the bottom of each of them. We need to find a sweet spot when it comes to how much information teachers should give students, as well as what kind of questions pupils might want to answer.
