The Importance of Adaptive Leadership
I'm a strong believer that the leadership team leads by example and sets the precedent for collaboration, cohesiveness, and approach across the organization. I find that when companies get bigger, that a lot of people aren't willing to adapt to that. You're talking about adaptive leadership, but they want things to say the same. It's really easy to forget about the stuff that's working well until it's not. But then there's this guy who just, everything's great and all that. You still have to keep a close eye on it, give them the time, communicate, understand, and include them in the whole of the leadership communication.
