The Shaw University Rezoning Plan and the Climate Crisis
The mosque at Shaw University has been closed since 2020. If the rezoning application goes through and is approved by Raleigh city council, this will permanently close the mosque. There's a rally that was hosted by alumni of Shaw people in the neighborhood who have been impacted by this. The hearing will be on Tuesday, June 20th at 1pm.
