The Benefits of a Low FODMAP Diet

Those who were eating a high FODMAP diet had increased gas pressure against this sphincter in the bottom of the throat called the LES, the lower esophageal sp hincter. That gas pressure pushed the sphincters open and led to more reflux. But one of the things that we can derive from this study is that you may not need a supplement with acid to fix your problem. We should look to changes like diet first because we know that diet alone can help remedy dyspiosis,. reduce gas levels, reduce leaky gut and just help the GI get back on track.
