Is There Something Supernatural About the Mind?
John baumgardner: Is there any rational basis for concluding that matter, either in biology or silicam, can possibly generate linguistic messages? i just don't think there is. And actually that relates to part of the preceding question t that says, is there something supernatural about the mind? Now this is a very interesting question. In other words, it has a supernaturalistic dimension, i would put it this way. I don't need to start with the resurrection of jesus and his miracles to see that there is a supernatural dimension. That is a thing that needs to be explored. The mystery of consciousness sits right in the centre of it.
