The Coming Down of Jerusalem

The new Jerusalem as we would understand it, not the physical city of geopolitical city of Jerusalem. In that geopolitical nation on earth at the eastern border of the Mediterranean. And you have sort of a separationing, a separation happening between the people of God and those who are not the people ofGod. The language of awfulness and destruction that will come upon the unbelievers and then the idyllic or the secure and safe finding refuge for Jerusalem. It's all being conflated together. That's why if you go into these passages understanding that this is both what happened and what's going to happen, that it's easier to actually make sense of it.
