'My relationship with philosophy and that say the joys of the intellect has changed. I find myself almost reading the works of different figures that I'm attracted to,' he says. 'It's no longer a retreat so to speak from the emotional or the body, but becomes actually a way of expanding my appreciation for human creativity,. intelligence and culture more broadly' He adds: 'You're not just becoming whatever Heidegger scholar, which is very passive really.'
