How Do You Follow Jesus?
The word disciple in hebrew is talmedim. And it can also be translated follower or student. But don't think llower, like i follow you on instagram, jesus,. and i like every photo. All discipleship was part and parcel of the first century world. To follow a rabbi was to prentice under a rabbi. Discipleship wasn't invented by jesus. It started a few hundred years before in greece. Later it spread across the globe with Plato's mediterraneum.
