The Importance of Being a Teenager Fast
"I soaked a lot of that stuff. Where were you getting that shit in El Paso? Because I didn't feel any culture there except for the, the, like Spanish like, you know, Juarez culture," he says. "It's who I hung out with. Like for me being that young, I always wanted to grow up fast and be a teenager fast." His dad wouldn't let him go to his first punk rock concert until after high school. The band name comes from their favorite drive-in movie: Death Race 2000.
