Is God's Nature Morally Good?

Gino: To say that god is good, why does god's nature count is good? And you've just pushed the problem back one short step. Why is it morally good to be compassionate, kind and impartial? Are those are those characteristics morally good because god has them? Or os god have those characteristics because they're morally good? Gino: We all would have oaa o understanding of goodness. It's god wills something because he is good. He's the straight edge; his own nature is the standard of goodness.
