The Importance of Job Titles and Roles in Data Science

Sally Kohn: I think we have some shared visions on titles and roles. You gave a fantastic talk at DBT's coalesce last December. The title of the talk was down with data science. And where you were sort of arguing for whether that title is helpful at all, basically.Kohn: A job title that reflects like a teeny slice of your job probably isn't the best job title. Number two is we need to make sure that our titles are allowing for people to have careers in data.
