The Refusal to Behave
There is something refreshingly anarchic about the film's refusal to behave itself. The strongest stuff for me is when it has its feet on the ground and its head in the air. I think that it kind of falls apart a little in the third act. When it throws its hand in with the more outlandish threads and goes, frankly, completely bonkers. There was never a moment in it when I was bored. And every angsty moment is more angsty than you will ever feel ever again in your life.
