The Future of Industrial Policy in the United States
The CHIPS Act is a seminal act for what this may be the most significant industrial policy legislation that's been put in place since World War II. Microchips, they are the backbone of Europe's industrial competitiveness in a digital world. The green and the digital transition, well, it requires new advanced technological solutions. And this is why we must increase Europe's own CHIPS research, development, production capabilities.
