His smear was notable for hypo segmented neutrophils macrocytic RBCs and no evidence of any schistocytes his PT PTT Fibrinogen were checked and were all within normal limits. Those unchanged showing a persistent pancytopenia Reticulocytes were 0.2% and his MCV was 112. The rest of his studies which included a BMP LFTs B12 folate TSH HIV and Hepatitis B and C testing for all unremarkable.
