The Attraction of Mithrasm in the Roman Empire
If you're a man, it didn't matter on your class, you could all take part. The military often seems to have been a big driver in spreading the religion. So maybe those aspects of Mithras appeal to you more if you're in the military. Or maybe it's a social thing to take up that God whilst you're out on the frontier or within the military unit. I never know.
