There is debate did Shakespeare intend it to be in this sequence, or was it put into publication by somebody else? So read them in sequence and see what you get out of them. Then also, because I'm going to give you a homework as I'm in very soon, what you should do is try to rank them, give them a grade. And then to be honest, there's only a few in a honesty that aren't anything amazing. That's what's so tremendous about Shakespeare's Sonnets. He took the Sonnet form, and no other writer, Dante, whatever, name your own, no other writer did so many Sonnets and make them all so consistently brilliant.
