Danny Cevallos served in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1965. He says he enlisted because his dad wanted him to learn how to fly. The enlistment process involved filling out a preference sheet and playing an instrument. "If you can play a musical and get your name on it, I did,"Cevallos said.
