I do not believe in well-polished roadmaps if you're doing things correctly because things are going to go wrong. Like I think one of my favorite quotes is Mike Tyson, which is like everybody has a plan until the gate hit in the face. It's a beautiful plan until the CEO has some good idea or the PM comes in and says, hey, we need this. That's just how it goes. You have to kind of build that into your planning where it's loose enough to give the team an idea about what they should be doing next and what their priority is. But flexible enough that things don't collapse if you suddenly have to pull this project because some other priority
