Introduction
Huma kachin Akiwi was born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand. He played volleyball for both junior and senior levels before moving to the U.S. where he went on to become a successful coach. His list of achievements is too long so I'll sum it up by saying that he coached the US means volleyball team to Olympic Gold and Beijing as well as winning silver at London 2012.
