Zephaniah 3: The Fulfillment of Promises
The Annunciation is a fulfillment of Zephaniah 3, and I'm going to talk a little bit later about the prophecies being promises. We hear right before the Annunciation, we hear about the conception of John the Baptist in the womb of Elizabeth. And then we have Mary going to visit Elizabeth, and this should tell us that the AnnunciationBeing in the middle of this means that the birth of John the Baptists are also very important to the story.
