The Decline of the Media
For most of the last century, broadly anybody with capital could start a newspaper. The market mechanism would pay for news but that has stopped because of the internet. And what that means now is that news outlets are generally owned by Dr Rich. But don't you think it's very strange that that dynamic has taken place at the same time as the media has opened up and democratized? I can't get my head around why that is.
