The California bullet train is a very audacious project in California. The idea was to build high speed rail like in Japan or other places that would connect San Francisco and Silicon Valley to LA and San Diego to the south. They approve this bond in 2010, they don't break ground until 2015. In fact, there's two problems with mountain ranges, one of which is the touch-hoppy mountains,. But then even worse than the touch-Hoppy mountains is the Diablo range. And the Diablo range sits to the south of Silicon Valley, separating that from everything to the south; it takes five years to break ground.
