The client paused and saw time as a resource. They paid attention, first of all, to that negative emotion and what they were feeling, but didn't act on it. That's another thing asked to consider. We can do specific breathing exercises in order to have a different body experience. And when we have that different body experience, we can have a different emotional experience. Then the story is more approachable. It goes both ways.
