I think that there's because of the vape pens and because of at least in the New York, Massachusetts area, there's a lot of legalization that has happened. So people are just going to recreational stores and buying. That if someone is in their 40s, let's say our 50s, the pop that you smoked in like 1985 is most definitely not the weed you are getting in a vape pen. You know what I mean? In the way of concentration, I never heard back in the day of people having this toxicity. And it really, it makes me sad, but it also like keeps it real for me.
Today, I’m sharing an interview with author and ex-stand up comedian Pam Gaslow. After more than a decade of sobriety, Pam relapsed into addiction at age 45.
While many people think of marijuana as a harmless drug, Pam’s experience was different: She became an addict, living without purpose and barely able to function.
We chat about everything, from why people think weed is completely harmless when it almost destroyed Pam’s life, to how her mindset has shifted post-addiction.
