What Is the Point of View of Li Leibnitz?
In some ways, the most significant and fascinating aspect of her translation is the commentary that she wrote on it. She decided that there was no point in just writing, doing translation unless she could explain more about newton's view of the universe. De chatelet also included in her commentary a section where she was translating his mathematics into calculus. The major questions include what kind of fect the mass of the earth would have on the interaction between the moon and the earth and the sun.
