The Presidents of France and the EC Are Going to Come Down Hard on Beijing During This Trip
The president of France, a fellow named Emmanuel Macron, was in China for the past five days or so meeting with that country's president. He signed over to dozen of those trade deals from airplanes to cosmetics. Second, they talked about climate change, which as I noted before the break, China is largely responsible for if you believe that it is both real and that carbon dioxide emissions are driving it. And finally, they talk about the future of relations between Europe and China.
