Throughout history we've found that romance was more a part of friendship than marriage. People did not get married for love they got married for resources to combine people's last names in the 1800s. So I think as we begin to realize romantic well I don't even want to say romantic spousal I guess traditional spousal love and affection platonic love has fallen to the waysidePart of that intentionally is because women got more rights there was less of a drive for women to need to get married to access rights. But if you know how to form any kind of intimate relationship than those skills are transferable one way or the other.
