The Relationships I'm Having With My Brother Is Like Dude but You Don't Let Me Stay Out All Night

I think my parents treated certain topics such as like sex and relationships similarly where it's like we literally didn't talk about sex. In terms of relationships it was just like don't date in high school or don't date till college at the earliest or something like that I think my brother was pretty good about like following most of my parents rules but he was a lot more like for lack of a better word like straight-edge than me. He always texts me where he is and I know exactly what he's doing  but you'll like go out and hang out with people but then you won't text me or anything even if your plans change, she says.
