How to Get From Correlation to Causation in Animal Studies
The goal of neuro science is to have a complete causal description that allows prediction. This has probagonto involve multiple levels. We don't know what the best level is for understanding emotions. Even if the mcdal is active during fear, that doesn't actually tell us much about the mechanism. And i'm going to focus for a minute on what we have learned about the amigdula.
