The FBI and IRS Investigated DeCordo and Oasis
The FBI and IRS deployed an undercover agent who posed as an investor. DeCordo had been a stockbroker on Wall Street, which he used to pitch the legitimacy of his investments. He was sentenced in October 2022 to 23 years in federal prison. The court also entered an order of forfeiture in the amount of $2.8 million.
