Putin's Russia Will Not Compromise Crimea
As long as Putin is in power in the Kremlin, he will not want to compromise. Every sort of pro-Russian sentiment has been battered out of the population over the past 12 months. The notion that Moscow could control Ukraine in any kind of way is utterly, utterly fanciful. This is a country that would just boil and sieve and cause Moscow endless problems for just generations to come.
