I wanted to look at religion as a brand because it is ultimately one of the longest running, I don't want to say lifestyle choices, but belief someone has. We are storied creatures who live in relationships. And we are inescapably story bound. That's the crux of a religious brand. It is to tell two stories at once. Your story, the story of your needs, and particularly I would say your fears and your deepest desires,. What you as an individual wish were true to make sense of the story you live in. But then when you enter into those relationships in that story and you find actually your desires being transformed too. You can only connect the dots looking backwards
