The Wealth Gap Is Increasing All the Time
In 2016, most renters were obviously under 35. But in the late 1990s, a typical renter was 26. Now that has risen to 34. And young people can't even afford rent, so they're staying at home. The number of people between 25 and 34-year-olds living independently and owning their own homes have fallen from 60% in 2004 to 27%. This is Ireland in 2019. So, that wealth gap I'm talking about is amplifying all the time.
